I have been trying to capture the beauty of the Sierra vistas. Distance shots are so difficult because the depth just doesn't show. The above pictures were taken as I drove over Monitor Pass, the only pass still open in early December.
This is the view of June Lake as I approached Trevor's new home above the lake.
I had to brace myself for the cold wind to try to get this shot of the Walker River as it flows with ice around the edges. Isn't it beautiful?
